Obituary

Dr. (Prophetess) Geraldine Doe-Eady, 69, of Jacksonville, FL., peacefully answered her Savior's call to enter eternal rest on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Community Hospice, Acosta-Rua Center for Caring, Jacksonville. A native of Beaufort, SC,  "Geri" was born on Tuesday, August 21, 1951, one of seven children to the late Peter Cleveland and Ila Mae (Young) Doe.  At an early age "Geri" accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was and a member of the family church, Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Beaufort, SC, where she faithfully served as an usher and sang in a gospel group called, "The Friendly Five" made up of her cousins and sisters.

She graduated from Roberts Smalls High School in Beaufort, SC in 1969; she continued her education at St. Peters College in Jersey City, NJ and graduated with a Doctorate in Religious Education in 1975; she also received a Doctorate of Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

She was an ordained Prophetess and Evangelist of Jesus Christ and was always in demand for establishing and laying foundational teaching in new ministries, coordinating conferences and workshops.  She was an anointed and appointed woman of valor who joined the Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center (PMDC) in the early 70's and assisted Apostle Dr. Idell Cheever build the awesome work of Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center (PMDC). As an administrator for the ministry, she organized numerous projects and effectively oversaw their respective success of them all. She also served as Apostle Cheever's personal nurse during her inception into this ministry.  Dr. Eady was the legs and feet for our Apostle Idell Cheever. Any time the Lord had spoken to Apostle Cheever regarding the work of the ministry, Dr. Eady set herself in motion to accomplish every mission.  Apostle Cheever spoke highly of Dr. Eady.  Dr. Eady created PMDC's Layout and Design Department, assisted in the production of the radio-tape broadcast; was the radio announcer;  helped in purchasing camera equipment in order to produce in-house production; hosted our weekly broadcast; and  was the Vice President of (WOTFL) and the original  designer of our Woman on the Frontline Logo.  She assisted with the launching of the Miracles of Deliverance Bible Institute (accredited through Jacksonville Theological Seminary).   Dr. Eady also loved the youth of PMDC and their passion for the word of God. She was a listener and encouraged the youth to pursue their goals. Dr. Eady developed numerous outreach ministries. She was an awesome Pastor in Jesup and Brunswick GA as well as Burton, SC., her home town. She was a dynamic preacher. One could call her "A Preacher's Preacher"! She was ordained as Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance International Evangelist in the 80's. Geraldine Eady was an ordained Minister, Teacher, Evangelist, Pastor, Prophetess, and often called an Apostle. She was also PMDC 's South District Overseer.  Surely she fulfilled every one of these offices.  Dr. Eady departed from the Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center, Inc. in 2002 and began her own ministry. Prophetess Geraldine Eady was a lover of people and would give the warmest hugs. Prophetess Eady was loved immensely by her Spiritual Mother; Apostle Dr. Idell Cheever. The PMDC Family will miss her greatly. We salute you, Great Woman of God, Dr. Geraldine Eady.

She was the Founder and Crusade Coordinator of Destiny Crusades; the Proceeding Word Leadership Conference in GA, Fl and SC; Board Member of People Who Care, Inc., in FL; Founder and President of Destiny Bible College with satellite schools in FL, GA and SC; VP of Lion of Judah International Fellowship of Churches in Jacksonville, FL; Executive Pastor of International Kingdom Ministries; Founder of Destiny Ministries; Founder of G.E.M. Ministries; she also served as Chaplain for Brunswick Police Department and has written 3 books and has also written workshop manuals,

Her life, time and energy were dedicated to serving God and her church family.  She was a loving sister, aunt, a godmother, a friend and counselor to many and always found time for others.  She exemplified the true word of God that "will make you Fishers of Men".  She lived a life worth noting and excelled in all she strived to do
