Frank Donald Snider, Sr., 79, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Lakewood Nursing Center, Crescent City. Frank, a native of Crescent City, was born Friday, June 30, 1933 to Mack Lloyd Snider Ransom and Ruby Bush Thompson. In 1965, he relocated to New York and in 1966 graduated from Vocational Education School in Nassau County, NY. Frank was united in Holy Matrimony to Deloris Snider. He was a long time member of the Crescent City House of God Church and attended Pentecostal Full Gospel Worship Center. "Eagle Eye" was known for wearing sporty caps that matched his suit, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Frank was preceded in eternal rest by his parents; wife; son, Tony Snider; brother, James Snider. To cherish his memories: 3 daughters, Jewel Tillman, Tifton, GA, Patricia Foster, Wrens, GA and Vanzola (James, Jr.) Grimes , Kingsland, GA; 7 sons, Frank Dawson, Crescent City; Roy J. (Patricia) Snider and Bernard J. Snider, both of Ft. Lauderdale; Mack L. Snider, Idaho; Frankie Snider, Phillip Snider and Anthony Snider, all of New York; 8 stepchildren, Gloria, Albertha G., Albertha C., Versa, Linda, Necole, Earnestine and Angie, all of Georgia; Sister, Jeanette Washington, Davie; adopted sister, Mary Lee Bigger, Miami; 2 aunts, Nazaree Bush Batts, Crescent City; Nellie Bush, Trenton NJ; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be from 5 - 8 p.m., on Friday, June 28 with Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity", 2400 Madison Street, Palatka.
