Frank Lee Bell, 57, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. The son of the late Monroe and Minnie Lee (King) Bell, Jr., he was born on Friday, October 21, 1960 in Lake Butler, FL. Frank was a 1978 graduate of Palatka High School. He was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by Florida Furniture and G-P Plywood Plant-Hawthorne. He was currently employed by Hubbell. His hobbies include fishing and hunting and he truly enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his daughter, Kutona Bell; "special parents," Johnnie and Myrtice King.
He leaves to cherish his memories: devoted wife of 20 years, Katrina LaShawn Calhoun-Bell; sons and daughters, Teryan Bell, Tyler Bell, Tiana Bell, Sabrina Stephens, LorFantana Harrell; 7 grandchildren, Rokita Boswell, Javesha Melton, Shaneiqua Ashley, Shantonio Kemp, Breonna Appling, Danielle Davis, Imonee Brown; brothers, Jerome (Beatrice) Bell, Nathan (Rebecca) Bell, Wilbert (Isabelle) Munford, Lawrence "Cecil" Garvin, Johnny King, Eugene (Debra) King, Aundray King; sisters, Wyoming Boggs, Beatrice Bell, Mary Bell, Zelene (Reverend Columbus) Burns, Beatrice King, Katrina Williams, Alfreida Williams, Doretha Mims; aunt, Geraldine Jones; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including, Travis (Lynette) Calhoun, Rakeem Calhoun, Lonnie (Camille) Evans, III, Robert (Denice) Evans, Michael (Michelle) Evans, Valerie Evans, Dale Evans, Brian Evans, Brenda (Lonnie) Oxendine, Lance (Eldora) Evans, Annette Evans, Barbara Evans, Glory Gilyard, and Lisa McGrady; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends: 5-8 p.m., Friday, February 2 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing Celebration: 2 p.m., Saturday, February 3 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 800 Madison St., Palatka, Reverend Tommy J. Rodgers, Pastor, is the eulogist. Interment: Oak Hill West Cemetery.
