Frances "Fran" Perugini Dawalt, 65, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Putnam Community Medical Center. A native of Bronx, NY., she was the daughter of Frank Joseph and Anna Mae (Phillips) Perugini, born on Monday, June 27, 1949. She was educated in the Westchester County NY District School system (Saint Helen's High School.) One of Fran's greatest accomplishments was singing at the Grand Lake Opera in Grove, OK. She united in marriage to Roger Dawalt and they relocated to Florida. Fran loved to sing karaoke at the Eagle Lodge in Lake Como and the Moose Lodge in Crescent City. Her hobbies included painting, cooking, and spending time with Molly (her Boston Bull Terrier.) In addition to her parents she was preceded in eternal rest by her brothers, Thomas and Robert Perugini. She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband of 18 years, Roger E. Dawalt, Crescent City; step-daughters, Nancy (Clark) Suffield, Georgetown; Terri (Mickie) Matchett, Interlachen; granddaughter, Melissa Dawalt, Interlachen; great-grandson, Conner, Interlachen; sister, June (Bob) White, Pomona Park; niece, Lynn Jones, Tahlequah, OK; three great nieces, and five great nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
