Forrest DeWitt "Butch" Williams, 70, of Interlachen, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at HCA Florida Hospital, Palatka. A native of Genesee, Michigan, "Butch"  was born on Thursday, February 21, 1952.  He was the son of Forrest Otto Williams and Jeanne Williams.   "Butch" had 7 siblings: 2 brothers and 5 sisters. He was a retired over the road truck driver.  Butch's hobby was scuba diving and he also enjoyed traveling.  "Butch" entered the United States Army on September 16, 1969, served our grateful nation faithfully and earned an honorable discharge on July 3, 1978.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Denise Williams,

He leaves to cherish his memories: 3 children , Julie Alexander, Denver, CO; Richard Cross, Redfield, AR; Nathan Watterson, Nashua, MT; brothers, Gregory Williams, California; Dana Williams, Kentucky;  Cindy Williams, Kentucky; Becky Davis, Kentucky; Janet Norden, Missouri; and Brenda Baldwin, Michigan. 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private memorial to honor Butch's life will be held at a later date.
