Eula Mae Kaymore, 92, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at The Ponce Therapy Care Center, St. Augustine. A native of Wellborn (Suwannee County) FL, she was born on Friday, March 16, 1923. The daughter of Roxie McCray, she was educated in the Suwannee County School District. She was united in holy matrimony to Ernest Lee Kaymore, Sr. She has been a resident of Palatka since 1952, moving from Lake City. "Mother Kaymore," as she was affectionately known, served as a faithful member and "Church Mother" of The Church of the Kingdom of God, Extension #7, Palatka. She was a retired homemaker who enjoyed sewing and fishing. In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in eternal rest by her son, Ernest Lee "Sam" Kaymore, Jr., daughter, Pastor Lola Grace Kaymore Whitty; and grandson, Reginald Blount. She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Franklin (Dora) Kaymore, Leotis (Peggy) Kaymore, all of Palatka; Danny (Marie) Kaymore, Interlachen; Leon (Shirley) Kaymore, Savannah, GA; James Kaymore, Irvington, NJ; daughter, Mary (Derett) Garrad, Newark, NJ; son-in-law, James Whitty, St. Augustine; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Deaconess Martha Smith, Palatka. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, October 30 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 31 at The Church of the Kingdom of God Extension #7, 1015 Washington Street, Palatka, Dr. Shelton Morris, Pastor, is the Eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
