Ella Mae Harrison Thompson, 64, of Middleburg, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her residence.
Ella Mae Harrison Thompson, the daughter of Rosa Mae Harrison and Lewis Henry Keys, was born on December 6, 1960 in Ermul, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Strayer University. She was of the Baptist faith. Ella was a member of St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church, Middleburg, where she served as the dance ministry leader, youth leader, announcer, and Finance ministry lead for the Sunday School board. She was employed by the City of Jacksonville and AT&T for more than 20 years combined. Ella enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking cookies and cakes. She was especially known for her red velvet, key lime, and 7 Up cakes. Ella also enjoyed shopping at Belk and Kohl's for purses and shoes.
