Elizabeth Johnson Green, 62, of Green Cove Springs, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Medical Center, Middleburg. The daughter of Henry Mackenly and Louse (Zeigler) Johnson, Elizabeth was born on Thursday, October 15, 1959 in Dr. Inlet, Florida. She was a 1977 graduate of Clay High School. She furthered her education and became a graduate of Concorde Nursing School. Elizabeth was employed by Family Medical Center, where she retired after 25 years of loyal service. She was a proud member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was a very devoted mother, wife, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Amos Green; brother, Raymond Johnson.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories: children, Ardonius Green, Andrew Green; siblings, Edna Zeigler, Sarah (Roosevelt) Sanks; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Public Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Friday, August 5; Celebration of Life: 11 a.m., Saturday, August 6, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Green Cove Springs, 32043, Rev. Robert L. Wright, pastor and eulogist. Interment: Mt. Olive Cemetery, Green Cove Springs.
