Ednita Clara Scott, 64, of Palm Coast, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her residence. The daughter of Edward and Emma Robinson, she was a native of Chicago, IL., born on Sunday, July 15, 1951. At an early age, her family moved to Gary, IN. Ednita was a 1969 graduate of Gary Roosevelt High School. While in Gary, she participated in "Y Chicas", an affiliate of the Gary YMCA and the Girl's Athletic Association (GAA). On September 15, 1969, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Charles E. Scott and they became proud parents of Shantel and Sondanese. She attended City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College and subsequently served as the Secretary to the Dean of Admissions. In 2005, she relocated to Palm Coast and in 2006 she united with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where she often assisted the Church Office and regularly read the Sunday announcements to the Congregation. She was employed with Boars Head, Inc., Publix Grocery in Palm Coast.

In addition toher parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her daughter, Sondanese Scott Buffin.

Scott, daughter, Shantel Scott; sister , Sheila (Joe) Gillie; 4 grandchildren , Shanese, Alexis, James, Reginald; 3 great-grandchildren , J'niyah and Joseph Fennell, Jeff Issac, Jr., nieces and nephews, Curtis, Omar, Edward, Jr., Trisha, Joi, Michael, Jr., She was loved by Nakia Washington, James Buffin, Louise Ross, Damell Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Celebration in honor of Ednita's life will be 11 a.m., Monday, December 28 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Pine Lakes Parkway, Palm Coast, Reverend Edwin Coffie, Pastor, is the Eulogist.
