Obituary

Edith Stackhouse Dolison, 82, of Palm Coast, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at her residence. Affectionately known as "Edie", she was born on Monday, January 19, 1942, in Orange, New Jersey to Matthew and Nancy Curtis Stackhouse.  She was a 1960 graduate of Clifford J. Scott High School. Several years after graduating, Edith met Claude Dolison whom she married and together they established a loving family. The couple's determination  to create a supportive and stable home life for their children led Edith to become a full-time homemaker. Following Claude's retirement, the couple relocated from Orange, New Jersey to Palm Coast, Florida. During her 38-year residency in Palm Coast, much of Edith's time was spent cooking, bowling and SHOPPING.   She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Palm Coast where she was a part of the Joseph Tribe under the leadership of Deacon Clay Simpson. Edith also served on the Usher Ministry for many years.  On Tuesday, Nov. 19th, 2024, Edith entered eternal rest at her home.

In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in eternal rest by  husband - Claude, brothers - Louis Stackhouse and Kenneth Stackhouse and  sister - Louise Stackhouse.
