July 9, 1949 – April 4, 2021
Eddie London, Jr., 71, of Bunnell, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at AdventHealth Hospice, Daytona Beach. A native of East Palatka, he was the son of Ed London, Sr. and Annie Bell Adams London, born on Saturday, July 9, 1949. Eddie was educated in the Flagler County School District. His elementary and junior high years were spent at George Washington Carver and he was a 1970 graduate of Bunnell High School. He subsequently attended Coco Technical Institute earning certification in Computer Operations. He was initially employed by the Florida Department of Transportation, working along with his father. Eddie enlisted and honorably served in the U. S. Marine Corp for two years. After returning home, he enrolled in and graduated from Daytona Beach Community College (DBCC) earning an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy. He commenced his healthcare career at Bunnell General Hospital, continued at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach and simultaneously pursued several other ventures. In order to accommodate his health needs, he became a resident of the Emory L. Bennett State Veterans Nursing Home. He became a Christian the moment he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Eddie was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Loraine London and sister-in-law, Rosemary London.

Lauderdale; great-grandchildren , Syasia Walker, Jamarion and Lashay Shellman; Brunswick, GA; brothers , Frank London Sr., Willie Lee London Sr., James (Ferlisha) London, all of Bunnell; sisters, Pastor Ruby Williams, Jacksonville; Patricia Harris, Gloria (Kelvin) Gipson, Bunnell; Melinda (David, Sr.) Myles, Palatka; Gail (Leroy, Sr.) Sampson, Sheila (George) Johnson, Bunnell; aunts, Barbara Flint, Delray Beach; Edith Johnson, Bunnell; Evelyn Scarborough, Daytona Beach, Evelyn Adams, Jacksonville; god-sisters , Sheila Crawford, Palm Coast; Joyce Williams, Alberta Ward, both of Jacksonville; extended family , The Monts and Coleman families, of Jacksonville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines (including required masks) a socially-distanced visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 16 at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 503 South Church Street, Bunnell. A Celebration of Eddie's Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, April 17 at First Baptist Bunnell, 2301 Commerce Parkway, Bunnell. Reverend Warnell Williams, eulogist. Interment: Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.
