Eddie James "Eddie B." Brown, Jr., 33, of Palatka entered the sunset of life on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, he was born on Wednesday, November 15, 1978 to Eddie James Brown, Sr. and Erma Jean (Lowe) Brown. He was educated in the Putnam County School District (Palatka High School). "Eddie B." was a salesperson at Just About Everything Beauty and Hair Supply store. He was an avid sports fan, Pittsburgh Steelers and Oklahoma City Thunders were his favorite teams. He loved playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Eddie was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, LaCherrel "Trina" Fenderson; maternal grandmother, Ethel Lee Lowe (May 14, 2012); paternal grandparents, Charlie & Alice Brown; aunt and uncle, Aldrena (Tony) Hunter; aunt Veronica Jackson. To cherish his memories: devoted mother, Erma Jean Lowe Brown, father, Eddie James Brown, Sr.; significant other, LaPorsha Hall; 4 children, Eddie J. Brown III, Dereon J. Brown, Dallas J. Brown, and Ivie-Elyse Brown, all of Palatka; Siblings, Linda Graves, Palatka; Tammy Brown, Jacksonville; Kevin Bradshaw, Ocala; Alicia (Farrelton) McCullough, Palatka; Frances (Stephen) Bruten, Deland; maternal grandfather, Benjamin F. Lowe, Palatka; godmother, Ann Hagans, Palatka; best friends, Holland Miller Jr., and Arnesto Ross, Palatka; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be 5 - 8 p.m., on Friday, July 13 at the "Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Ave, Palatka. Elder Anthony Milton, of Rhema Healing & Deliverance Ministries will preside. Elder Jarvis Wright, of Victorious Faith Church of God in Christ, is the Eulogist.
