Earl Vincent "Vince" O'Shea, 77, of Satsuma, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at his San Mateo Road residence. A native of Jefferson City, Missouri, he was the son of Louis and Lillian (Ponzar) O'Shea, born on Monday, April 12, 1937. "Vince" spent his early childhood and school years in the state of California. He subsequently enlisted in the United States Navy, serving six years and was honorably discharged. He has resided in the Putnam County area for over 35 years. In 1977, "Vince" united in marriage to the former Marie "Ann" Phinney. As an entrepreneur, for over 30 years, Vince traveled nationally as a self-employed truck driver. He had a passion for motorcycles and loved spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite past-time was watching television. In addition to his parents, Vince was preceded in eternal rest by several of his siblings. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Ann O'Shea, Satsuma; children, Soncee Green, Alecia (Neal) Thompson, and Shawn Saucerman (Jeannie Martin) all of Palatka; brother, Michael O'Shea, Palm Springs, CA; grandchildren, Brandon Lyon, Staci Green, Ashlee Thompson, Sarah Kathyrn Saucerman, Macie Saucerman, and Lane Saucerman, all of Palatka, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of caring relatives and friends. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
