Douglas Scott Greenfield, 57, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at his residence in Crescent City. Florida.

Douglas Scott Greenfield was born on May 3, 1966 at the Jacksonville Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida to Courtland and Patricia (Bovard) Greenfield.

Doug met the love of his life, Deanna Lee Brown, and they were married on May 29, 1999.  Doug and Deanna were blessed with two children.  Doug enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed creating a tropical oasis and was extremely proud of his home.  Doug worked in the construction field and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors, family, and friends.  Doug had a wonderful sense of humor and was always able to bring a smile and laugh to those who were lucky to know him.  Doug had a love of all things sci-fi but his favorite was the Star Wars series.  As a young boy he collected all the Star Wars memorabilia and was very proud of his collection.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leslie and Lottie Greenfield and maternal grandparents, Robert and Esther Bovard.

Left to cherish Doug's memory are his wife, Deanna Lee Greenfield; son, Brandon Lee Greenfield; daughter, Brandy Nicole Greenfield of Crescent City, FL; parents, Court and Pat Greenfield of Fort McCoy, FL; two sisters, Tammy and husband, Henry Norman of Indianola, IA, Laura Greenfield of Austin, TX; one brother, Daniel and wife, Jessica Greenfield of Austin, TX; nephews, a niece, aunts, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held to honor Doug at a future date.
