Dorothy Ann Hill, 51, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, January 12th, 2008, at Putnam Community Medical Center following an extended illness. Dorothy was a native & life long resident of Putnam County and graduated from Central Academy High School class of 1974. She was a loyal member of Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Missionary Society and a youth worker as a member of the Young Adult Choir. Her hobbies included watching good movies, eating ice, and taking care of children. Dorothy was also an avid Jaguars football fan. Dorothy is preceded in eternal rest by her parents, Harold & Mrs. Florine (Collier) Hill; sister, Imogene Robinson; brothers, James L. Hill and Kenneth Hill. To cherish her memories: loving sons; Eric Hill Sr., Palatka; Anton (Rolando) Hill, Atlanta, GA; Brother: Jerome (Terri) Hill, Jacksonville, FL., Sister; Yvonne (Johnnie) Jackson, Jacksonville, FL, Roberta (Dea. Charlie) Francis, Eva Mae Hill, Harriet Hill, Florine Hill Pope, all of Palatka; Grandchildren; Eric Hill, Jr., & Khalipha Hill, both of Palatka; Aaliyah Hill, El Paso, TX., Anijah Hill, Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and caring friends. Visitation for family & friends will be Friday, January 18th from 5-8 pm. the Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, January 19th at 12 Noon at Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 N. 19th St., Palatka, Rev. Anthony Q. Robinson, Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery, Palatka. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Karl N. Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel.
