Donnie J. "Don" "Donnell" McCaskell, 64, of Bunnell, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Flagler Health and Rehabilitation Center, Bunnell. The son of Johnnie, Sr. and Betty Lucille (Paradise) McCaskell, he was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1953 in Broxton, GA. He was educated in the Flagler County School District and attended Bunnell High School. Donnie was employed over 25 years with Halifax Paving, Ormond Beach and WholeSale Auto Mart, St. Augustine. He was a well-known auto body mechanic and automobile painter. "Don" completed countless body repairs, reconstruction and upholstery for many people. Although he was a skilled mechanic, he enjoyed physical damage repairs and automobile painting/ finishing, more than anything. "Don" also found pleasure in bowling, he was an avid bowler and had previously bowled in a competitive league.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his father, Johnnie McCaskell, Sr.; eldest son, Donnelle Javon Golphin, Sr.; sister, Patricia J. McCaskell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother , Betty Lucille McCaskell; daughters, LaTronda McCaskell, Denishia McCaskell, both of Bunnell; son, Donnie McCaskell, Jr., Bunnell; brother, Johnny (Arletha) McCaskell, Jr., Bunnell; sisters, Priscilla McCaskell, Holly Hill; Gloria McCaskell Wilson, Bunnell, Debra (Terence) Steward, Tampa; Aretha (Zachary) Reddin, Riverview; three grandchildren, Donnelle, Jr., Denali, and Da'Zaya, all of Holly Hill; aunt, Helen Randolph, Riverside, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Evelyn Cooper, Bunnell; Demetriod Poyatzis, Ormond Beach .
