Donna Renita Miers (Dickinson), Palatka was escorted to Heaven by the angels on June 10th, 2008 as the result of an illness. Donna was born on June 25th, 1951 in Brazil, Indiana. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Palatka. She loved animals and enjoyed cooking, fishing, crocheting and writing poetry. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence, Jr., stepmother, Midge Young, both of Brazil, Indiana, adoptive father, Harvey Dickinson, brother, Billy Young. To cherish her memories, daughter, Julie Brighenti, Pomona Park, FL; mother Cathy (Naughgles); stepfather, Julio Brighenti, Pomona Park, FL; sisters, Evelyn (Mark) Williams, Demopolis, AL, Ruth Morris, Martinsville, IL; brother, Bobby Dalton, Montgomery, AL; 1 granddaughter,Ayla Halliday,great-grandson,Trysten Johnson, both of Welaka, FL, a host of relatives, friends, and neighbors. Memorial service will be 5 pm on Friday, June 13th at The Chapel of Serenity, 2400 Madison Street, Palatka, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Donnas memory to Christian Service Center, Humane Society of North FL, Building Fund, Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church or charity of choice.
