Donald Ray Williams, 62, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Kindred Hospital North Florida, Green Cove Springs.  The son of Blanche Williams Woods and Sammie Lee Williams, he was born on May 1, 1962 in Palatka. He was educated in the Putnam County School District and attended Palatka High School. Donald was a construction worker.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Tyrone Woods; sister, Frances "Peaches" Williams.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories: former wife, Cheryl Williams, Jacksonville; daughters, Donna Williams, McDonough, GA; Darneshia Williams, Tallahassee; Cheryl King, Jacksonville; grandson, Mason Jackson, Tallahassee; brother, Danny Woods, Palatka; sisters, Debra (Leroy) Hunter, Catherine Williams, Mae Alice Williams, all of Palatka; Alice Mae Williams, Atlanta, GA; Donald Williams is also fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles, who played a significant role in his life. Their love and support were constant throughout his journey, and they will always hold a special place in his heart."

Celebration of Donald's Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, August 31 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity" with visitation from 2-3 p.m. Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Pastor of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, officiating.
