Dominique Nicole Oxendine, 35, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of Bryant and Florence (Pickard) Oxendine, born on Saturday, April 27, 1985. She was educated in the Ysleta Independent County School District in El Paso Texas at P. M. Hanks High School. Dominique was a member of Refuge Church of Our Lord.  She was employed by Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as spending time at the beach.  In addition to her mother, Dominique was preceded in eternal rest by her paternal grandmother , Jerri Mae Oxendine, maternal grandparents, William and Irma Pickard.

She leaves to cherish her memories: parents, Bryant (Titania) Oxendine; son, Deandre Oxendine; 7 siblings, Marvin (Connie) Brown, Jason (Erynn) Oxendine, Tinesha Lopez, all of El Paso, TX;  Jerrell Oxendine, Jaylon Oxendine, Tavaris Cooper, Tiana Oxendine, all of Palatka; aunts/uncles, Shirley (James Owens) White, Margaret Davis, Vernisha (James) Ladingham, Lasonya Pickard, Linnette Pickard, Johnny White, Milous Oxendine, Edroy Oxendine, Micheal Pickard, Shawn (Nikki) Keith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines (including required masks) a limited, socially-distanced visitation of family and friends will be from 1-3 p.m., Friday, June 5, and Celebration of Dominique's Life will be 12 noon, Saturday, June 6 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Elder Alonzo Mulberry, III, Pastor, Soul Mission COGIC, Palatka, is the eulogist.
