IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diana Lenora
Broadway
January 11, 1952 – August 30, 2021
On August 30 th , 2021, Diana (Reihner) Broadway, cherished mother, and grandmother, peacefully entered eternal rest in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love and presence of her family.
Diana was born January 11, 1952, in Washington, Pa., the third of six children. She graduated from Washington High School in 1969, married the love of her life, Allen Broadway, on August 31, 1977, and moved to Palatka, Fl. in 1986. They had three children Allen, Melissa, and Joshua who were loved and adored. She was a dedicated, hard worker and acquired many jobs while caring for her ill husband. Diana continued to work selflessly to care for her children after his passing in 1990. In 2000, she began working for LaFarge North America. She was a loyal, reliable, dedicated, and respected laboratory technician for LaFarge for sixteen years.
She will be remembered as a mother who loved unconditionally and lived selflessly to provide for her children; a grandmother who would drop everything to be with her grandchildren, her pride and joy; an employer who was loved and respected by her coworkers. She was a woman who gave all for her family's happiness. She would give the shirt off her back for a stranger in need.
She loved shopping - always buying for others, anything on sale, cooking feasts (even if it were for one person), watching Criminal Minds and NCIS, playing Words with Friends and Candy Crush, and anything involving her family.
Diana was reunited in eternity with her loving husband, Allen Broadway Sr., her parents Herbert and Ethel Reihner, her son Joshua Broadway, her grandson Nikelas Cole, her daughter-in-law Cheri Broadway, her sister Connie Riethmiller, and her brother Jeff Reihner. She is survived by two children: Allen Broadway and Melissa Rea (Jeremy), a daughter-in-law (more like a daughter) Nicolette Broadway, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Vicky Ahrens (Eric) 2 brothers, Herbert Reihner (Anita) and Paul Reihner (MaryAnn), and several nieces, nephews.
Family and friends are encouraged to join in the celebration of Diana's life Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Life Church, 2701 Reid Street, Palatka, Fl. 32177. Visitation will be 3- 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Life Church.
