Dennis Lou Sanford, 65, of Palatka entered the sunset of life on Friday, February 17, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Little Fork, Minnesota, he was born on Tuesday, October 1, 1946 to Louie & Helen (Hausen) Sanford. He was a lumber saw man at Riverside Truss Company and Atlas Truss Company until he became disabled. His hobbies included fishing, raising turkeys and gardening. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Boyd Sanford and niece, Roberta Sanford. Those who will cherish his memories: brother; Grant Sanford, Interlachen; sister; Marlene Wheelus, Palatka and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends. A private celebration of life for family and friends will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012.
