Deborah Denese Bush, the daughter of Walter Major and Jeanette Johnson, she was born on Saturday, August 4, 1951 in St. Augustine, Florida. Deborah was educated in St. Johns County School District and graduated from R. J. Murray High School, Class of 1969.  During her early years, she resided in St. Augustine.  Subsequently, Deborah made her home in Jacksonville, Florida. She was of the Christian faith. Her hobbies included watching television, putting puzzles together and socializing at the community center.

Deborah entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by brothers, Freddie Major, Sr., and Walter Major, Jr., sisters Dorothy Daniels and Pamela Axen and grandson, Jeremi Hunt II.

Precious memories of Deborah remain with her daughters and son, Lakischa (Michael) Antipuesto - Manteca, CA, TuWanda (Johnny) Atkins - Jacksonville, FL, Kee-Nila (Kenny, Sr.) Shorter - Atlanta, GA, Tari Shannon - Atlanta, GA and Darryl (Lynda) Bush- Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Shakyra Nelson, Auri Nelson, Jeshua (Sandra) Ringold, Quan'tajah  Bush, Ken'shana Shorter, Ar'jahni Shorter, Kenneth Shorter, Jr., Johnny (Erin) Atkins II, Tamiyah Robinson, Soroyha Shannon; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Anthony (Robin) Major; three sisters, Clyde Lavenia Jenkins, Cheryl Bryant and Jeanne (Herbert) Wyche and a host of nieces and nephews.
