Dayquones Quon Laterrole Bernard, Hill, 8, of Palatka entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at Putnam Community Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka, born November 12, 2000. He was a 2nd grade student at William D. Moseley Elementary School and had been recently nominated as a Terrific Kid. Quon loved all subjects in school, especially writing and was in the Top 5 for reading. Quon attended Tabernacle Baptist Church, Palatka & New Mt. Tamo Baptist Church, Pomona Park. His favorite cartoon was Ben 10 Alien Force and his favorite color was orange. To Cherish His Memories: Mother, Tanika Willette Niki Hill, Palatka; Father, Shaun P. Allen, Atlanta, GA., Likea-Father Christopher Evans, Palatka; Sisters & Brothers, Ashanti Wright, Dontaevone Evans, & Dishawn Evans, all of Palatka; Amayi Allen, East Palatka; Isis Allen, Vineland, NJ; Maternal Grandparents, Mary (Michael Mike) Marshall, Palatka; Ellis B. Nockey Williams, Sr., Palatka; Paternal Grandparents, Nathan & Marvie Allen, East Palatka; Numerous Aunts & Uncles, including Kathryn (Willie Luke) Simmons, Jr., Pomona Park; Latoya Gilyard, Merita Williams, & Ellis B. B-Boy Williams, Jr., all of Palatka; LaShronda Nicole Williams, Daytona Beach, Alicia Lisa (Rev. Kelvin) Smart, Green Cove Springs; and a host of other relatives, friends, caring friends, Schoolmates and classmates. Visitation of family and friends will be Friday, March 20, from 5-8 p.m. at the Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at W. H. Beasley Middle School, 1100 South 18th Street, Palatka, with viewing at the school from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Reverend Theodore McRae, Pastor of New Mt. Tamo Baptist Church, Pomona Park, is the eulogist and Reverend James E. Vickers, moderator of St. Johns River Baptist Association, presiding. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at Moseley Elementary School, 1001 Husson Avenue, Palatka at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
