Daniell John Sanders, 43, of Green Cove Springs, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Miller Nursing Home, Colquitt, GA. A native of Gainesville, he was the son of Dorothy L. Sheppard and John H. Sanders Jr., born on Saturday, October 15, 1977. He was educated in the Clay County School District. He was baptized at an early age by Pastor John T. Haymon of New Hope Baptist Church, Penney Farms. He worked in landscaping. Daniell was a Florida Gators and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was truly the life of the party, a real comedian, and always had a joke or two to tell. He had a very loud voice and knew how to get anyone's attention. Daniell had a good heart and would help you in any way he could. He leaves behind many memories.

He leaves to cherish his memories : mother, Dorothy L. (Bill) Sheppard, father, John H. (Lovie) Sanders; stepfather, Lacy McMullen, Sr.; daughters, Anika (Nate) Johnson, Alexis Sanders, Keishanda Sanders, Jahnyia Sanders, Shayla Self; grandchildren, Nova Johnson, Ramsey Johnson, Aubrey Lackey; sisters, Laquana (Stanley) Marshall, Monica Wright, Katronica Sanders (Victor) Cruger; brothers, Brian Williams, Lacy McMullen Jr, Jordan Sanders, Eric (Michelle) Sanders, William Thomas (Lanicia) Marshall, III; and a host of  uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and loving friends, including special friends, Misty Bauder and Sharanda Allen.

In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines including masks with social distancing is required. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 SR 16 W, Green Cove Springs. Rev. Ronnie Surrency, Pastor. Rev. John Reese, Pastor of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, Elwood, is the eulogist.
