Dale Joshua Watts, 54, of Pomona Park, entered eternal rest early Monday morning, November 18, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness. A native of Hialeah, FL, he was born on Tuesday, July 21, 1959 and was educated in the Miami-Dade County School District. Dale graduated from the "School of Hard Knocks." He has been a Putnam County resident for 46 years. He was very industrious and his occupations included marine and wood construction, land surveying, woodworking and cabinetry. He was affiliated with Barrentine Creek Church, Satsuma, FL. Dale was always helping people and would reach out by asking, "You need anything?" or "Can I help you with something?" He loved to cook and simply enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in eternal rest by his father, Horace Lionel Watts; special mother, Gladys Watts Flinchum; paternal grandparents, Edward Ellis Watts and Grace L. Watts; and brother, David J. Watts. To cherish his memories, beloved wife: Bonnie Annette (Dunn) Watts, Pomona Park; two daughters, Christy Watts, Sarasota, Desire' Watts, Bushnell; "mother figure," Ida "Aunt Bea" Streeter, Mableton, GA., brothers, Daniel J. Watts, Pomona Park, Christian K. Flinchum; sister, Jeane L. Watts; devoted cousins, Keith, Chris and Kevin Watkins, Atlanta, GA; and a host of extended family and friends. A Memorial Celebration will be held from 9 a.m. Saturday, November 23, until 9 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the family's residence, 157 Beecher Springs Road, Pomona Park. Bonnie says, "Bring your instruments and voices; "Let's make a joyful noise."
