Daisy Mae Bowens, 87, of Cocoa, transitioned on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Wuesthoff Medical Center, Rockledge. She was a native of Americus, Georgia. Daisy was a retired private duty Certified Nursing Assistant. To cherish her memories: loving son, Cornelius (Evelyn) Bowens, Cocoa; daughter, Alfredia (Joe) Huiett, Metter, GA, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 8th , 9 11 a.m. Services at 11 am at Fiske Blvd. Church of Christ, 805 Fiske Blvd.,Rockledge. Bro. Hansel Bell, officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Cocoa.
