Corsica Equontae White, 30, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center. The daughter of Clint White and Theresa Beth Young-Mungin, she was a native of Gainesville, born on Monday, February 5, 1990. She was educated at Orange-Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, SC and Palatka High School (Class of 2009). For the past 3 years, she was employed as a cook at Kiva-Palatka Assisted Living facility. Corsica loved the Lord and enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending quality time with her family.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in eternal rest by grandfather, Benjamin Mungin; great-grandparents, Dea. J. C. and Wilmatina Jones; great-aunt, Patricia Clark; uncle, Ben Mungin, Jr.; cousin, Katoria Clark.
Those who cherish her memories: children, Savannah Eldridge, Noah White, Naomi White, and Micah Harris; mother, Theresa (Johnell Wilson) Mungin; brothers, Cordae Mungin, Corzell White, Cornell (Rashell Johnson) Wilson, Bernard Ash; grandparents, Wilma Mungin, Ella White, Clint White, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Titania (Minister Bryant) Oxendine, Latonya Chestnut, Benetta Mungin, Sarah Mungin, Anna Mungin, Detron (Heather) Williams, Dietrich (Christina) Mungin, John White, Benjamin Mungin, Jr., Kurt Mungin, Keith Mungin; special nieces, Ciera and Takyriah; devoted cousins, Jerrell Oxendine, Jalon Oxendine, Tiana Oxendine, Taliyah Williams, Tavaris Cooper; and a host of great aunts & uncles, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Corsica's life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Elder Alonzo Mulberry III, pastor of Soul Mission Church of God in Christ, officiating.
