Constance Taylor Middleton, 89, of Pomona Park, entered the sunset of life on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of Charleston, SC, she was born on Thursday, August 11, 1927 to George Taylor and Elouise (Kelly) Taylor. Constance was educated in the Berkeley County SC School District. Constance furthered her education at Piedmont Nursing School, and later earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She later became employed at the Central State Hospital (Psychiatric Ward) in Petersburg, VA, retiring in 1992 as a Registered Nurse. Constance was of the Catholic faith. In March 2014, Constance relocated to the Pomona Park area. Her hobbies included: jewelry making, researching family genealogy, and reading devotionals. Her parents preceded her in eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Kari Rose Middleton, Richmond, VA; two grandsons, Jokari C. Lucas, Omar Taylor, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Trinity Anderson; devoted family friend, Susan J. Lippincott, Pomona Park; and a host of relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2017, at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity."
