Cleveland B. Smith, II, the son of Cleveland Bernice Smith, Sr. & Clidy Doretha Cooper, was born August 10, 1958 in Penney Farms, Florida. Cleve entered the sunset of life on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Clay County and was educated in the Clay County School District (Class of 76). He was a member of Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs where he served on the Ushers Ministry. Cleveland was a loyal employee of Watco for many years and a talented painter. His hobbies included motorcycle riding, playing cards and he enjoyed being a family man. Cleve took pleasure in being an impersonator and a disc jockey.
His father, Cleveland B. Smith, Sr.; Mother, Clidy D. Snell; Brothers, Willie James Snell, Johnny B. Snell and Sister, Betty Ann Snell preceded him in eternal rest.

Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 SR 16 West, Green Cove Springs. His pastor, Rev. Robert L. Wright, of Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church is the eulogist. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
