Cleavon L. Hubert, 61, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Dover, Delaware. A native of Hastings, he was the son of Cleavon, Sr. and Margaret Hubert, born on Saturday, April 1, 1961. He was a 1979 graduate of Hastings High School. Cleavon was a certified meat cutter at many supermarkets including: Lovitt's Grocery Store, Miller's Supermarket, Hale's Food Store, Huntley Bros, and Food Lion. He was also formerly employed by Woody's BBQ and Johnnie Kemp. Cleavon loved music, hats, sunglasses, jewelry, and meat-cutting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Davetta Douglas; maternal grandparents, Millie and Horace Dunbar.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Margaret Hubert; children, Vy'nitria Hubert, D'amani Hubert, Renaissance Hubert; brothers, Author Reddick, Jesse Reddick, Robert (Tranesha) Hubert, Paul (Kesha) Isiah, Eric Hubert; sisters, Virginia (Tinsley) McGlocking, Cleaster Parker, Julie Golden, Sirellia (Clarence) Jones, Cynthia Hubert; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be held 9-11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity". Min. Terrance Smith, Assoc. Pastor, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Federal Point, is the eulogist. Interment: Oak Hill West Cemetery, Palatka. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Karl N. Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel.
