Claudia Sharon Jones, 72, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka. The daughter of Julia Webb and Samuel Jones, she was born on Wednesday, August 8, 1951. Sharon was a 1969 graduate of Central  Academy High School. She attended The Florida School of Arts and Miami–Dade College. Her heartfelt passions included tailoring, architecture and gardening. Sharon loved her family, friends and traveling. Her enthusiasm and encouragement to live life on your own terms will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in eternal rest by her parents.

After a courageous battle with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), Sharon entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memories of love and life: her goddaughter, Kelsey James; beloved friends and classmates.

Her favorite scripture: "Trust  in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He shall direct your path."

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, September 21, at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity.
