Christal L. Mitchner-Ross, 45, of Pomona Park, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, Palatka. A native of Deland, she was the daughter of Paul Adams and Lewis Ann Miler, born on Saturday, September 11, 1976. Christal was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a 1994 graduate of Crescent City Jr.-Sr. High School. She was a faithful member of Jethro First Baptist Church, Crescent City. Christal was a dedicated worker who earned several managerial promotions during her retail sales -convenient store career. She enjoyed spending time at the Crescent City fishing dock with her mom and fishing buddies. She also enjoyed singing and spending time with her family and friends. Christal enjoyed life! Her life's journey led her to several cities within the state of Florida, but she declared Putnam County as her home until she entered eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Zorriya Ross; son, Cameron Wright; mother, Lewis Ann Miler; brother, Edward (Destiny) Mitchner, Jr.; sister, Vonetta Adams; "sisters of the heart,"  Takelia Addison, Lautricia White and Gloria Williams; aunt, Nanette Renee Thompkins; uncles, Cecil (Deborah) Bullard, Calvin Adams; nephews, Justin Adams, Colin Mitchner; niece, Jaylyn Mitchner; 8 great nieces and nephews; devoted friends, John Wright, Rick Alexander, David Stapleton,  and Johnny Hayes; and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5:30-7 p.m., Friday, March 11 and Celebration of Christal's Life will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 12 at Friendship Baptist Church, 286 Smiley Store Road, Crescent City, Reverend Michael Robinson, Pastor.
