Cheryl R. Davis Israel, 70, of Interlachen, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, Palatka. The daughter of Albert Davis and Annie Elizabeth Whitaker, she was born Sunday, July 12, 1953, in Eatonton, GA. She was a graduate of Putnam County High School, Eatonton, GA and the School of Ministry. Cheryl was a Christian who enjoyed serving as a missionary, working for hospice care and teaching. Her hobbies included gardening, fishing, reading, and visiting flea markets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her son, Tod Israel; daughter, Malissa Israel; sister, Berlivier Mathis.

She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Terrell Davis; stepchildren, Pamela (Warren) Macon, Vickie (Andre) Velasco, Michelle (Hassan) Israel, Tracy Israel; granddaughter, Dari'elle Davis; step grandchildren, Daniel (Arianne) Israel, Darrell (Jessica) Crethers, Danielle Crethers, Anthony "AJ" Fussell, Andrew Ansley, Breon Fussell, Jenai Fussell, Alvisha Hartley, Alvoid Hartley, Joseph Hines, Jr., Aja Phillips, Randolph Myers, Jr., Marshall Macon Jr., Javon Macon, Stacy Macon, Sterling Macon; 27 great grandchildren; sisters, Caroline Davis, Ruby Dunn; brothers, Al Wayne (Jackie) Davis, Bruce Mathis, Kenneth "Ken" Davis; aunts, Jackie Whitaker, Alma Freeman; uncles, Joseph Whitaker, John Whitaker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial celebrating Cheryl's life will be at 11 a.m., Friday, December 29 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity".
