Evangelist Charlotte White Williams, 58, Orlando, (longtime Crescent City resident) entered the sunset of life on Sunday December 7, 2008 at Florida Hospital Orlando. She was born May 11, 1950 to the union of Raiford Freeman and Lillian White Kennell. Charlotte received her education in the Putnam County school district, Middleton High School Class of 68. She was united in marriage to Clarence Williams, Sr., on August 11, 1973. She attended Crusaders for Christ Evangelistic Center while residing in Orlando for the past 18 months. She was a former member of Kingdom Ministries, Lion of Judah Worship Center International, Inc., and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Charlotte was formerly employed at Gene Martin Leather Leaf Fernery and was a mail carrier for over 25 years from the Crescent City and Pomona Park post offices. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, fishing, and watching sports. She was an avid FL State Seminole football fan. She is preceded in eternal rest by her: husband, Dea. Clarence Williams, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Rev. Rueben & Mabel White; father, Raiford Freeman; brother Alvin White; nephew, Jarvis Crocker; godson, Jerome Williams; cousin, Katronica Wilson; and father in law, Edward Cooper. To cherish her memories: loving daughters, Vanvoris Van (Antonio) Clemmons, Orlando; VomSheree Von(Gerald) Harrell, Trenton, NJ, Caswayla Mookie Williams, Pomona Park; devoted son, Clarence Pooh Bear (Jeanna) Williams, Jr., Crescent City; mother, Lillian White Kennell, Crescent City; brothers, Lonnie Kennell, Jr., Pittsburgh, PA; Lonnell Kennell, Crescent City; sisters, Evangelist Harriett (James) Jordan, Crescent City; Coretta Scott, Newark, NJ.; 9 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; a host of other relatives and caring friends. Visitation: Friday, Dec. 12th, 5-7 p.m. at Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ, 1050 Huntington Rd, Crescent City. Celebration of her life will be on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. at True Foundation Ministries, 608 Randolph St., Crescent City. Elder H. Harry Banks, pastor of Johnson Temple COGIC, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Eden Cemetery, Crescent City.
