Charles Herbert Miller, 81, of Palm Coast, entered the sunset of life on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Gentle Care ALF, Palm Coast. The son of Charles S. Miller and Edna Mae Payne, he was a native of East Meadow, Long Island, NY., born on Friday, August 14, 1936. During his early years the family moved to Copiague Long Island and he was educated in the Copiague Union Free School District. At the age of 14, he commenced working at Georgini's Bowling Alley in Amityville NY. He learned to bowl and subsequently entered many bowling tournaments and also loved to work on race cars. Charles was a kind-hearted man who got along very well with everyone he met. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Palm Coast.
In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Barbara Tazwell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his siblings, Ester Lanhem, Savannah, GA; Rose Haitm and Carol Streotor, both of Augusta, GA; god-sister (like a sister), Ruth (Richard) Nettles, Palm Coast; and a host of relatives and friends.
