Catherlene Loretta Jones-Dixon, 65, of Palm Coast, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at her residence. The daughter of Catherine (Spates) and Johnnie Jones, she was born on Monday, September 8, 1958 in Bunnell, FL.  Her family relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, FL  where Cat was educated in the Broward County School system. She attended and graduated from Plantation High School and subsequently attended Florida A&M University. She enrolled in A.T.I. where she became certified as a Trouble Shooter Technician of Electronics and was employed for over 40 years. She was formerly a sister in the Order of Eastern Star.

"Cat" relocated back to her hometown of Bunnell in 2018 where she enjoyed her retirement with great neighbors and her loving family.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping, creating beautiful artwork, cooking, and her personal fashion flare. She loved being around people and sharing a great joke or two and her "beautiful smile" will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Cat was preceded in eternal rest by her grandparents, Jabo Sr. and Ola Mae Spates; nephew, Miguel Jones; nieces, Minnie and Cloretha Spates; special friend, R.J. Spates.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters; Yumeka (Romers) Carey-Toussaint, Elisha Lewis, Denise (Richard) Washington; stepson, Glenn Robinson; grandchildren, Yumalik Carey, Shanteeria and Brianna Crew, Chance and Serinity Washington; great grandson, Knowledge "Scooter" Sermon; brothers, Jerry Jones, Forrest (Stephanie) Hope, Kelvine (Delores) Smith, Alphonso (Debra) Smith, Phillip Neal; husband, Carl Dixon; sisters, Rosetta Spater, Johnniemae (Willie) Jones, Martina Crowley, Mable and Krystal Neal; godsisters, Ann Giles, Amanda Hampton; nieces and nephews, Lester Jones and family, Yolanda Jones Hill, Regina Dunbar, Jada, Judy, Janal, and Jenetta Walker, Michael Joseph, Maurice, Ationetta, Alphonso, Tiara, Dean, and Trevon Smith, Kelvin Jr., and Shantalancia Smith, Angel and Forrest Hope, Jr., aunts and uncles; Celestine Spates-Wyman, Ethel Boatwright, Jabo (Lo Ann) Spates, Jr.; special family and friends, Frankie Lane and family, The Maral and West Family, Cat, Tammy, Meme, Mrs. Lee, Fat Cat, Teann, Ralph Brown and Xavier Turner and family.
