Catherine "Cathy" Deloris Keeley-Brooks, 61, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her daughter, Juanita's residence in Orange Park. The daughter of Willie and Eva Mae (Lane) Keeley, Sr., she was born on Tuesday, June 3, 1958 in Woodbine, GA. Cathy was educated in the Putnam County School District and attended Palatka Central High School. She was a seasonal farm laborer who enjoyed playing cards, cleaning, and braiding hair.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Wallace Brooks; grandson, Lasalle Williams; paternal grandparents, Willie B. (June) Keeley; maternal grandparents, Jefferson (Leola) Lane.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Juanita (Derrick) Williams, Swanna Keeley; grandchildren, D'Asha Keeley, Talib Williams, Khalid Williams, DaQuan Williams, Derrick Williams, Jr.; brothers, Oliver Keeley, Willie Keeley, Jr.; sisters, Memria (Pastor Abie) Williams, Sabrina Eubanks; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, November 15; Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 16 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Reverend Theodore McRae, pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Federal Point, is the eulogist.
