Obituary

Carolane Adele Pier, 68, of Satsuma, entered the sunset of life on Monday, April 24, 2023 at HCA FL Putnam Hospital.

Carolane will always be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She was a great friend to all the people she knew. She will always be an irreplaceable part of her family's lives.

Above anything, as a mother, she truly enjoyed the time she spent with people. She enjoyed working as a substitute teacher for the school system and also worked at a school for the disabled. This was something that she loved doing. She really loved to help others and it was of greater importance to her. She had a natural talent for art and music. Carolane was an excellent drawer and painter. Her love of music led her to working and performing as a singer, which was one of her most favorite skills. She was able to sing at will and without notice, she would start singing as loud as can be. Everyone would marvel at her voice when she would sing lead.

From the time she was young, she talked about her love for horses and worked for horse owners and desired to someday nurture her own. She loved animals in general and enjoyed taking care of pets.

Carolane was definitely a people person and her personality embodied this. She enjoyed talking with just about anyone she encountered, about any subject. She is among the strongest people her son has ever met. Some of the things she liked were going to concerts and the beach, riding motorcycles, and eating out. She enjoyed everything mostly when she was able to be with her family and friends. She loved and enjoyed things as simple as reading a book. There's nothing we can recall, that she did not love. She loved life!

She was a great writer and she loved books (especially poetry and history). As a great mom and homemaker, she enjoyed hosting others and had a passion for food. Many family and friends will always remember the apple pie she would make. It was a great joy for her to share this with others.

Stephen could never ask for a better mother. There is no one who could do better for him than her. He will always hope that she will once again do everything that she loved to do. He will always want her to be able to love that and he will always wish that he had the ability to give that to her. Carolane deserves to be able to experience those things again. She will always be remembered and forever loved by her son, and all of her family.
