Carmina S. Gilliam, 48, native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine. The daughter of Charlie and Harolyn Yvonne Gilliam, she was born on Thursday, May 23, 1974. Carmina was a 1992 graduate of St. Augustine High School. At an early adult age, throughout the community and surrounding areas, Carmina was well known as the "go to" stylist for the latest trends in hairstyles.

She was the business owner of Fame Fancy Dazzle, DeeFame Cleaning, TuTu Too You and Extravagant Designs. Throughout the years of her entrepreneurship, her clients were loyal and faithful to her craft and her creativeness. Those same loyal clients became her friends and considered family.
