Carl "Skee BO" Reaves, 79, of Interlachen, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka. The son of Toy and Evelyn (Israel) Reaves, Carl was born on July 22, 1947 in Mullins, South Carolina. He was a 1967 graduate of Central Academy. Subsequently, he enlisted into the U.S. Army. Carl was of the Christian faith and enjoyed building cars, gardening, and farming.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his great granddaughter, Bella Ni’Vera Niko Dumas; and nephew, Maurice Spells.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters and son, Nichole (Rolaundus) Reaves Watson, Johnson, FL; Natalie Reaves, Palatka; Valencia Reaves, Carlos Reaves, both of Hollister; 9 grandchildren, Desiree Dumas, Jasmine Watson, Rolaunda Watson, all of Johnson, FL; Rolaundus Watson, Jr., Gainesville; Chyna Ivey, Paris Ivey, Rome Ivey, Inclia Ivey, all of Palatka; Carlos Reaves, Jr., Hollister; 6 great grandchildren, Bentley, Amari, Nevaeh, Janai, Jace, Bryce; 7 sisters, Malvoria Reaves, Doris Watts, Hazeltine Reaves, Shirley Edwards, all of Hollister; Jean Wilson, Joyce Ford, Linda Childs, all of Orlando; special friend, Vera Lewis Reaves; special niece, Stephanie Dantzler Curry, Palatka; aunts and uncles, James Israel, Rochester, NY; Eloise Israel, Mullins, SC; John C. Owens, Bob Owens, West Palm Beach; Ernell Owens, Dillon, SC; and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 31. A Celebration of Life will commence at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 1 at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Interment: Jacksonville National Cemetery.
