Carl Leandre "P-Nut" Padgett, 34, of Pierson, entered the sunset of life on Friday, November 19, 2021 at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. A native of Deland and son of Dorothy Lemorris Padgett and Leonard Jacobs, Carl was born on Monday, September 21, 1987.  He was educated in the Volusia County School District and attended Taylor High School, Pierson.   "P-Nut" was a member of the Pierson Church of God. He was employed as a fernery worker.  Carl loved to cook, listen to music, play pool and spend time with family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Shantel Burden.

He leaves to cherish his memories: brothers, L.W. Burden, Orlando; Lawrence Jacobs, Deltona; aunts, Ophelia Butts and Ruth Williams; special friend, Aubrey Hulce; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Following CDC guidelines:  Visitation of family and friends will be from 9-10 a.m., Saturday, November 27, with a celebration of "P-Nut's" Life commencing at 10 a.m., graveside at St. John's Cemetery, 207 Cemetery Road, Seville.  Pastor Jarvis F. Wright, Sr., of New St. Paul Church, Seville, is the officiant.
