Calvon Estmond "Spudd" Jones, 41, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, December 15, 2023 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, Palatka. The son of Calvester Eugene Jones and Valorie "Toni" Powell Brown, he was born on Thursday, October 28, 1982 in Palatka. He was educated in the Putnam County School District and attended Palatka High School. He was employed as a truck driver, and he loved it.  Calvon loved his family, and he especially loved hanging out with his cousins.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Jaxson Jones; grandparents, James Charles Jones, Sr., Wilma Tine Plummer Jones and Doretha Beauford Powell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: father, Calvester Jones; mother, Valorie Powell Brown; children, Kymani Powell, Kirra Smith, Mackenzie Jones; brothers, Corey Jones and Chavon Jones, both of Jacksonville; Aiden Jones, Palatka; sisters, Lauryn Jones, Kiya Jones, Callie Jones, Arielle Jones, all of Palatka; special cousin, Sharod Jones, Tampa; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial Celebration of Calvon's Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 23 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity."
