Obituary

Bryan Eulaund Hughes, 18, of San Mateo, transitioned from this life on Friday, July 4th 2008 (declaring his own independence of pain and suffering) at Putnam Community Medical Center following an extended illness. Bryan was born April 27, 1990 in Gainesville, Florida. He was baptized at an early age by his great-grandfather, the Reverend Buster Hughes Sr. of the Greater Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Palatka. Bryans education was initiated at the age of 3 at James A. Long Elementary School. He later transitioned to the special needs program at the Eleanor H. Miller School. Bryans open personality and inviting smile allowed him to make many friends. Some of Bryans favorites include Power Rangers and Scooby Doo cartoons, which kept him joyfully childlike. He also loved music and songs and as helpful as he enjoyed being, he was as stubborn as he tried to act. However, more importantly, Bryan loved to be in charge.
