Brittani Joyce Hope, 27 of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Health Central Hospital, Ocoee. The daughter of Bobby Edward Hope and Cynthia Michelle Burke, she was born on Tuesday, July 24, 1990 in Gainesville and was a lifelong resident of Palatka. She was a 2008 graduate of Palatka High School. In 2009, Brittani furthered her education at Master's Commission @ Connect Community Church, New Hampshire. She was employed as a Cook at Pizza Hut. In her early years, Brittani attended youth church at First Assembly of God, Palatka. She was a fun-spirited person who loved singing, rapping, and spending time with family and friends, especially her siblings.
In addition to her father Bobby Hope, she was preceded in eternal rest by her maternal grandfather, Charles Burke, Sr., paternal grandfather, Willie Hope; maternal great-grandparents, Leroy and Mattie Crowley special uncle and aunt, Willie and Elizabeth Blue.
She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Cynthia Burke, Palatka; brothers, Trevarus Tucker, Reginald Walton, Bobby Hope, Jr., Brandon Hope, Perrin Hope, all of Palatka; sister, YoShandah Tucker, Daytona Beach; maternal grandmother, Betty Crowley Eubanks, Palatka; paternal grandmother, Patricia (Willie James) Douglas, Jacksonville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 27 and Celebration of Brittani's will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 28 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Pastor Jimmy Hudson (former Youth Pastor of Palatka First Assembly of God) The Rock in Jonesboro, Arkansas, officiating.
