Blondie M. Christopher Pressley, 67, of Green Cove Springs, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville. A native of Clay County (Doctor's Inlet) FL., Blondie was the daughter of John Wesley Christopher, Sr. and Nellie (Zeigler) Christopher, born on Saturday, January 22, 1955. She was educated in the Clay County School District and was a graduate of Clay High School. Blondie was united in marriage with Willie Mose Pressley, Sr. and they became the blessed parents of one son and two daughters. Blondie was a dedicated chef who served many years with Moosehaven Retirement Community in Orange Park. She was an entrepreneur who launched a professional cleaning service as well as a catering business. She ultimately concluded her employment career with SoBran, Inc., at the Naval Air Station- JAX, serving as an Inventory Specialist before retirement. Blondie accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and truly loved the Lord. She was a Prophetess who also served faithfully as a Missionary and Prayer Warrior in the Lord's Army for numerous years.
In addition to her parents, Blondie was preceded in eternal rest by her sisters, Betty Jean Smith and Johnnie Mae Proctor; brothers, James Christopher and John Christopher.
She leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband , Willie M. Pressley, Sr.; son , Willie M. (Tameka) Pressley, Jr., daughters , Jermekia and Janice Pressley; grandchildren , Willie M. Pressley, lll, Yossiana, Jamauri and Kason; great granddaughter , Trejur; sisters , Patricia Christopher, Cynthia Shakir; Marian (Larry) Christopher; sisters-in-law , Laverne Christopher, Sarah Pressley, Juanita Cobb and Alveta (Vincent) Cunningham; brother-in-law , Johnny Pressley; and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 1-2 p.m. with Homegoing Celebration commencing at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 19, at Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 SR 16 West, Green Cove Springs. Interment will be 9 a.m., Monday, February 21 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
