Obituary

Blond Eva "Blonde" Williams, 65, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka, after yielding in her courageous battle against cancer. The daughter of Willie Williams and Cora Lee Jackson, she was a native of Seville, born Monday, August 2, 1954. She was the sixth-born child of eight children. Blonde loved the Lord and was employed as a farm laborer. Her life was forever changed the day that she met her fiancé, Jonathan "Sam" Perry, whom she loved dearly. As she began her new life with Sam, she gained a new family that exhibited the true meaning of unconditional love. She loved to listen to music, dance and cook for her family and friends. She was full of laughter and love. Fun was her middle name!

She leaves to cherish her memories: fiancé of 17 years, Jonathan "Sam" Perry, Palatka; sisters, Ruth Sands, Boston, MA; Wilhemina Williams, Daytona Beach; and Deloris Williams, Palatka; brother, Thomas (Linda) Williams, Pomona Park; sisters-in-law, Addie (John) Addison, Crescent City; Louise Williams, Gainesville; " like a mother", Lurene Perry, Palatka; "like a father," Eugene Perry, Brunswick, GA; "just like siblings," Dorothy (Marvin) Lewis, Alice (Keith) Garrell, Vance (Theresa) Perry, Gregory Grant, Amos Perry, Dale (Prentence) Perry, Douglas Perry, Lonnie Perry and Lynn Harris; nieces and nephews, Angel Sweeney, Balinda Morgan, Louis Sands, Dionna Ryan, Richard Bush Jr., Sheneeka Still, Steve Williams Jr., Gloria Williams, Roshod Addison, Ardelia Williams, Robert Williams, Tina Williams, Keith (Shonda) Curry, Regina Davis, Vanessa (Antoine) Ford, Rosalyn Williams, Sandra Brown, Marvin Lewis Jr., Monica Lewis, Louise Mitchell, Lester Rodriguez, Rena Powell, Vance "Red" Wright, Tony Perry, Keonna Perry, Keira Perry, Abdul Perry, Lonnie Perry Jr., Robert Perry, Rhonda Perry, Alvin Perry, Michelle Perry, Curly Perry, Mary Perry, Elijah Perry, Alex Perry, Niya Perry, Torrance Perry and Larniesha Perry; goddaughter, Chrishelle Young; devoted friend, Trevena Henley; and a host of great-nieces and great nephews; cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, September 20, at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, September 21, at the Victory Worship Center of Full Gospel Church, 1022 Huntington Road, Crescent City, Minister Vincent Oliver, Pastor. Rev. Jacquelyn Moore, associate minister of St Mark A.M. E. Church, Orlando, FL., is the eulogist.
