Evangelist Beverly Ann Session-Thomas, 58, of East Palatka,entered the sunset of life on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Flagler Hospital, St. Augustine. The daughter of John Wayne & Eva Mae (Lockett) Carter, Sr., she was born on Tuesday, September 24, 1957 in St. Augustine. She was a 1975 graduate of St. Augustine High School. Beverly was employed at Flagler Hospital (St. Augustine) as a Dietary Cook. On February 6, 2005, Beverly was united in Holy Matrimony to Jimmie Session-Thomas. They later relocated to East Palatka area. Evangelist Thomas served as Associate Pastor at New Life Temple Fellowship, Green Cove Springs. She enjoyed witnessing and serving in church functions especially the nursing ministry. Her hobbies include bowling. She was preceded in eternal rest by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories: husband of 11 years , Pastor Jimmie Session-Thomas, Sr., East Palatka; children , Shawnta Session, Jimmie Session, Jr., both of East Palatka; Barsha Session, Daryl (Annette) Session, both of Palatka; Evette Session, West Palm Beach ; two brothers , John Carter, II, New York, John Carter, III, Lake City ; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and caring friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday March 18th at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 19th at Morning Star Baptist Church, 5th Street, East Palatka, Reverend James Sloan, Pastor. Bishop Mark Jones, Presiding Prelate of New Life Temple Fellowship of Churches, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, San Mateo
