Bernard Anthony Blount, 36, of Sacramento, CA (formerly of East Palatka, FL), entered the sunset of life on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center. The son of  Bryan Blount and Vashti Coleman, was born on Saturday, August 15, 1987, in Long Branch, New Jersey. He was educated in the Putnam County School District and a 2005 graduate of Palatka High School. He subsequently earned a Bachelor's Degree in Air Traffic Management with a minor in Applied Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  He enjoyed flying airplanes, hunting, traveling and music.

In addition to his father, Anthony was preceded in eternal rest by his paternal grandparents, James and Wilhelmina Blount; paternal great-grandmothers, Rosella Blount and Thelma Mae Walker; maternal grandmother, Helen W. Harris;  maternal grandfather, Roosevelt Lawrence; maternal step-grandfather, Samuel Otis Marlowe; maternal uncle, Leotis Marlowe.
