Beatrice Carla Bush was born on Tuesday, March 20, 1962 in Crescent City, FL to Jary Dean Bush and Lemar Evans, Sr.  She was a lifelong resident of Crescent City and was affectionately known as Carla or Tiny. Carla was a 1980 graduate of Crescent City High School.  She was employed as an Area Stock Clerk at Sparton Electronics for 39 years. She was a lifelong member of the House of God Church where she enjoyed praising and serving the Lord.  Cooking and spending time with her family and friends were her favorite things to do.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, Carla made her earthly departure from this dwelling place at Advent Health in Deland, Florida to her eternal resting place.  Preceding Carla in eternal rest are her maternal and paternal grandparents, father, Lemar Evans, Sr.; son ,Darius Edwards; brother, Marcus Hardy.

Those left to cherish the precious memories of "Carla" include her partner in life, Lawrence W. Edwards; devoted son, Lawrence C. Edwards; parents Goler and Jary Hardy; siblings, Queston "Tate" Hardy, Sr., Crescent City; Terrence (Rhonda) Evans, LeMar (Lechita)  Evans, Jr. both of Atlanta, GA; Kevin (LaTashi) Evans, East Palatka;  Justin Evans, St. Petersburg; devoted sisters-in-law, Kimyetta Hardy, Alice Myers, Charlotte Dillard, all of Crescent City; bonus children, Cintrell Johnson, Ventrell Brown, Merelda Davis, James Chestnut, Phoenicha Thorpe, Bovell Crews; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation of family & friends will be 4-6 p.m., Friday, February 9 @ House of God Church, 1020 Clemons Lane, Crescent City. Homegoing Celebration will be 12 noon, Saturday, February 10 @ George C. Miller Middle School Auditorium, 101 S. Prospect Street, Crescent City. Pastor Travis Reynolds, Empowering Word Christian Fellowship, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Crescent City.
