Barbara Ann Rose, 55, of Fruitland, entered the sunset of life on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of Mansfield, Ohio, she was born on Saturday, April 5, 1958 to Elmer & Lynda Jordan Rose. She was educated in Montgomery County, OH School District. Barbara has resided in Fruitland since 1985 and retired in 1989 as an IGA Supermarket Customer Service Representative in Welaka. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ and visited Emanuel Episcopal Church. Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker and was known for being a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She really loved animals (especially her dogs), riding motorcycles, fishing and hunting. She was preceded in eternal rest by her father, Elmer Lee Rose; son, Lennie Burton brother; Billie Ray Rose; and fiancé, Wayne Poole. Byrd, Mansfield, OH; sisters, Brenda (John) Clafton, Leesburg; Karen (David) Pietrzak, Kettering, OH; Bonnie (Phil) Hilderbrand, Jamestown, OH; Yvonne Marie (Mark) Robertson, Mansfield, OH; fiancé, Ralph Gibbs, Fruitland; grandchildren, Larry Bangert, Madison Rose Bray, Dustin Bangert, Chayna Bray, and other relatives and friends. Memorial Celebration will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity", 2400 Madison Street, Palatka.
